Do any members use a bee vac. for awkward swarms? and if so, what improvements have you made to existing designs please.

i made a mesh inner cover .so I could take the lid off to let some air in and i could see how much room was left.

I use one, used it on thursday for a large cut out in a porch on a big stone farm house. farmer was happy with bees but his wife wonted them gone by saturday or else

Yes have one and used it. works fine provided you use the min. suction you can. Only use it if you cant get them any other way would be my advice.

I don't have one, would like one but will still have to make one.
I understand that the hoses preferably need to have smooth bores, not vacuum cleaner ridged hoses as the smooth hose will prevent damage to the bees as they travel/get sucked through.
