In this thread when I said "young" I was referring to people my age- teenagers. I am trying to see whether there are any other teenage beekeepers on here.

I want to get a general idea of the average age as well...

Mental age is about 10. Real age? Old enough to be your mother! Now go and tidy your room it's like a bomb site, pick up those mugs and plates off the floor before they go mouldy or father Christmas won't bring you any toys!

I know I'm only 19 and have been for decades..
