If you put a frame of honey in the freezer, does the honey actually freeze? Or is there too much sugar in there for that?

I can only say by my own experience and not any scientific knowledge. But i have frozen fully capped supers. I wrap them in layers of clingfilm then in brown parcel paper to stop freezer burn. Once frozen they are like everything else in the freezer, rock solid, on that observation i would say yes it freezes

You must have a chest freezer then bakerbee . I've frozen brood frames and super frames when I've wanted to use them ive thawed them out for 24 hours them also left them for another 24hrs at room temp before using them . They were fine, I did wonder though about
Some of the frames having not been capped completely. But these frames have been fine also . As bakerbee said make sure you rap them up well to stop frost burn .

I do have a chest freezer. When my father in law passed i nabbed it as thought it perfect for the job.
