Hi all hope you have had a good xmas.

looking on paynes sale they have a 4 frame extractor reduced has anybody got one, used one wondering if its ok and whether its a good deal or not

many thanks

:cheers2:

I would go for one that has a stand as suspect it would be difficult to hold whilst turning the handle.

Merry Christmas

The price is good but tangential can be a pain in the butt if you expand and have a few hives to do. As you have to load it up spin half the honey out one side, turn the frames around then spin all the honey out the second side, then turn them back to the first side to spin the rest out.
If you are only going to have a couple of hives then it should be fine, but beware I only ever wanted 2 hives lol, and am up to 15 and have just seen some hives on sale.

Looks similar to one I got from Maizees. It is easy to operate, the internal filter does a good job and the collection tank is large. A little bit of common sense when loading frames and it won't wobble.

Is fairly good quality although I'm not sure about nylon tap and plastic gears. Buy cheap, buy twice.

Abelo extractor might be a better choice.
