North East Worcestershire BKA will be running a 1 day beginners course at Bromsgrove School on Sunday 10th April. It's designed for new and potential beekeepers who missed our evening course and don't want to wait until next year to start their beekeeping. The emphasis is on those things a new beekeeper needs to know in their first 3 or 4 months and will include a short apiary session (weather permitting). We will run a follow-up day if needed towards the end of the season, but will also explore alternative supplementary learning options on the course (mentoring, books and notes, BKA apiary sessions and help via web forum).

It's expected that most attendees will be from Worcestershire but we'll happily take bookings from elsewhere.

Where: Bromsgrove School
When: Sunday 10th April 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cost: £60 (or £50 for members of Worcestershire BKA)
Discounts: 50% off for 2nd person at same address
Misc: Lunch and refreshments included
Bookings: Telephone Alex Bignell on 01527 833753

I will also be replicating this course for smaller groups (max. 8) on 2 further dates:

Where: Jinny Ring Craft Centre, Hanbury near Bromsgrove
When: Sunday 17th April & Sunday 1st May, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cost: £70 plus VAT = £84
Misc: lunch not included. There is a good value servery restaurant on site.
Bookings: contact me Chris Broad via P.M., email [email protected] or tel: 01527 872448.

I'm happy to answer any questions via this thread or privately.

Thanks
Chris
