Educating Bees Just as a point worth mentioning, you will be given loads of advice on here some valuable, some not so valuable and some plain misinformed. You will need to sort out the difference only experience will guide you. In my Ten Years I have yet to find one of my bees that can read, so...

    insulation covers

I agree with Marks I thought the answer to a perfectly straight question was rude and sarcastic, people need help not "Attitude" they may not have searched all the forum, they may not know how? My Gran used to tell me if you are going to say something make sure it is BOTH True and kind, if not...

    Great Tit

Clip or not to clip Don't clip, leave it all to the natural world, saying that,i don't do many inspections just let bees do what bees do! In fact i am not really a beekeeper i am a bee landlord, and rarely collect my rent :)

Bee haver I also keep one of my two hives with minimal interference, in fact i have only looked into the brood box twice this year i did the same last year and the year before, it may be a pure coincidence (Time will tell) this hive has not swarmed for two years as far as i can tell, and last...
