One of my apiaries has free range hens and ducks. One of the ducks has scraped out under one of the hives and lays her eggs there.
The chickens clean up all the dead bees, and the odd frame I put out for them.
They all seem to get along fine.
Finn must be asleep, I'd have thought he'd have been here telling us how **** UK honey yields are lol.
Even taking into account that I have far more hives this year than last, my crop was up by nearly 400%, no sooner had I put my wet supers back on they were filled again. My jar requirement...
The fences on those saws are crap, I had the Lidl version. Binned it after only a few months and splashed out on a 110V Makita site table saw - far superior.

I had a visit from the bee inspectors today - 2 inspectors and 3 auditors making sure they fill in the correct paperwork etc.
Very good outcome, with comments about clean apiary and hives, nice bees and brood patterns, and how well the bees had drawn out plastic foundation and the total absence...
3g worked for me in a single national brood box when vaping under the floor. I used a plumbers soldering mat to place the head of the vaporiser on so it did not burn the mite tray. Foam in the entrance and to cover any gap where the mite tray slides in.
Some 'Buckfast' bees have the nasty habit of turning food into brood; not storing any nectar for winter use, or not having the capacity to do so because there are so many bees it is consumed as soon as they bring it in/are fed.
I have my tin hat ready....
