    Anyone had experience taking honey in hand luggage?

    Guess what: that "Manuka honey" from Oz, was highly likely to be Jellybush honey called Manuka. Several of the Queensland brands label it like that e.g. Australian Manuka Honey... Jellybush tastes much worse than Manuka, it ranks (in both senses of the word!) right down there with Buckwheat...

    Heather, that seems like quite an over reaction. There is plenty of science regarding the health benefits of Manuka honey, particularly on wounds. Feel free to research about it and discuss with me. Rob

    This years honey prices!!

    :) Back when everyone wanted Clover, beeks here couldn't sell Manuka. It was an unwanted product that gummed up combs. I have several stories and a picture of beeks washing out their frames in a river to get rid of that blessed Manuka! Now many people realise that darker honeys are healthier...
