    Castors for large electric extractor

You have to bear in mind that your floor surface has to be perfectly flat/ smooth for the ball to roll. The slightest obstruction and you'll end up shoving/lugging it. Smaller the wheel/ball the worse it will be. I have a thxxnes three leg 9 frame. Wound'nt fancy lugging your 20! Regards FB

    Lawnmowing

Hello My contribution! I have a 40cc petrol brushcutter. It uses an Oregon head with four lines. The cord line is 7mm and absolutely destroys anything in it's path with accompanying racket and bits flying everywhere. Extreme strimming this is. To clarify further, My new apiary has been...

    Rebate with router table

Hello This is my first post in nearly a year following being severly Pxxxed off with a response by the ignorant Toxxer who regularly "subscribes" to this otherwise fine forum. Moving on........................... (and I am) My big advice would be dont bother with eye protection but invest...

    Apiary Layout Design

Yes And well it may be. It is not however anything to do with my OP? I am well aware of the need to make nucs look different which is why I did not ask for that info. The reason for my annoyance is that the post includes the totally unnecessary statement:- "Any damn way you want. " Not...

    Apiary Layout Design

I will have you know that i am calm - just exceedingly annoyed? There's a difference. To repeat the point i am NOT fretting. I am very well prepared on this with the exception that at the 11th hour, i have had second thoughts on the layout whilst laying it out. Hence the OP requesting some ideas...

Thank you to all those who have gone out of their way to given helpful constructive contributions However.... Poly Hive> I detect nowhere in my post that I am fretting. I am well aware that it will be "any way I want". It is a simple enough question and if you cannot make a pleasant reply...

    Bako defect stock.

Yes this debate on regional price differences has surfaced before. I am sure that if i had haggled more or maybe if my face had fitted better, i might have got it cheaper. For the one box collected, i was happy with what i got Blimey hivemaker that was quick? You're not stalking me are you?

    Bako defect stock.

To add to the previous threads/posts re sources of sugar/fondant. I visited my local bako in London. I "registered" - which amounted to giving my name and address and gave my order - 12 kg of fondant. " none in stock ..." says the lady. On hearing my teeth grinding, she offered to check the...

    Honey Bees Require Removal

Oh no they won't!! ....... Come out on their own! I have experienced this very thing. Reported as a swarm but they had been in residence for more than a year. An unsuspecting ( and fortunate) sole had attempted to twist the lid off and thought it was stuck. The combs weighed down with stores...

To mark the queen or not?

Yes i agree. Queen spotting is a skill acquired with experience. I am amazed how quickly i spot them these days when i was not actually looking. Conversely I remember the days when, obsessed with this "holy grail" search, i spent ages staring in all the wrong places. Where was the little voice...

Hello John..... Got a new Nail-gun?

Amongst the gaps in my tool arsenal is one of these - Santa take note. Much pondered over especially whilst watching a day of NYW and Norm effortlessly putt-putting -assembling items that would take me 10 times longer with no appreciable benefits for my labours? So:- Have you got one? Make ...

    Frame pins

I believe "rampin" is the technical term for the "pin insertion tool" wot i referred to in my earlier post. I believe they are made by Eclipse and available at better tool shops cheaper than Txxxxxxs catalogue. The "pin" inside the tool is magnetic and holds your frame pin insitu whilst you...
