    I was not thinking of doing that to them I am thinking reading your replys that I might have to order ten brood frames make them up with no foundation and swap them over one frame at a time I might even spot the queen lol catch her and mark her wha hay

    thank you the new hives have complete frames with foundation so I could get some try some thing on these lines My wife made all the frames up i seen it done on u tube JP the bee man. I do not want to set them back to much. thanks you again

    their Apiary manger is not the problem the problem was that the apiary i had to move them on to was a new members apiary and he locked it to stop the locals just wondering in and getting stung and he did not any other keys cut. I am happy i am on my own site now.

    i have just today spoken to the association and have got a different mentor who is looking at the hive on Saturday he has bees near my hive one question why is it not a good idea to keep the queen excluder on over winter ?

    can not remember exactly when but it was when the association treated their hives and it was Apiguard just about to order some, also have feed then today with bee patty and fondant
