    Entry level honey extractor

Our BKA runs a very popular honey extractor kit hire scheme for members. See https://tinyurl.com/lbxg2ht We would like to provide more entry-level kits for hire. Is the Abelo 4-frame manual extractor a machine to recommend? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

    Wheelbarrow for moving Nationals

See https://tinyurl.com/yck8jdkb for details of my bee barrow, which uses an old National wooden floor, in place of the wheelbarrow pan. I wouldn't be without it.

South Somerset - Paid bee Work...

I suggest you just offer them half the honey crop, and say that you expect to find six hives of bees, prepared for winter, when you come home. They would keep any swarms and any increase (nucs, extra queens etc) and they would use their own equipment for any increase. Paying an hourly rate...

    Honey stores after colony loss

If you are concerned about the health of the colony, you may like to contact the seasonal bee inspector. They are working now, I think. They can advise on reuse of the combs of honey.

Mobile honey extracting line for Anglesey beekeeper

I am most certainly NOT suggesting that there is anything fraudulent about this project. I merely queried the source of the funding. If the project has indeed received 100% funding from the Welsh Government I would expect North Wales BKA's to have been asked to provide letters of support, and...

I did query the source of the grant on the Felin Honeybees Facebook page. My request for information was deleted. Has this project been grant-aided by the Welsh Government? Please provide their project reference number. Many thanks.
