    I had a go on a latshaw in the summer, but I have been told the schley system is a little easier to use, so I was going to have a go at making a stand, I hope get my self on a II course soon.

    some beekeeper dont know the first thing about collecting swarms they make a mess and other's have to clean up after them this is unfair and wrong I dont think the bbka has the right to put people on there list who are not skilled in any way to collect swarms. some people that are on the list...

    so we are insured to climb on some ones roof to remove swarms, covered for damage that may happen and if the bee's sting and kill the owner of the house ill be fine then. as long as there is no money changing hands some how i dont think so.

    there not insured read your bbka info you need 3 part insurance to work in the public sector like my electrical insurance. they only thing that are insured are your hives

    Poly Hive have you got a picture of the queen? Bickerstaffes queen bees AMM? I had a swarm from a wood a few weeks a go and the bees are pure black no strips what so ever and really nice to work with.

    cell gets sealed on day 8/9 so it many be the egg was one of the last to be layed so stop stressing you said there was an opened cell on another frame. was there any thing in it? then if so there fine dont mess with them and wait and see what happens.
