Just for interest...Whats the going rate to sell whole frames of honey when packaged?

Now into my 3rd year of beekeeping I would like to try and get some nice comb honey. I suppose easiest way would be to put some unwired foundation into a super when theres a flow on. But how do others with more experience do it and any little tricks that would help us newbies

I got 3 of his economy queens last summer.... very nice bees to handle and still strong colonies even now. Have high hopes for them this year.....

Went for a ride to local garden centre... they had packets of bulbs for sale at 50p a packet bought a tenner worth and saved a fortune.... now to get them in pots and plant in garden after flowering....

Close family members bought me a sublimox for Christmas so decided to try it out of my 8 hives..... all done in no time. I dont think I would of bought one myself with do few hives but better than having aftershave and 30 pairs of socks and stuff you would never use..... 2 hives topped up...

This has been my first full year of selling my honey and the people who had never had spring soft set before and were slightly dubious about it have bought more and love it. There are the others that just stick to the nice runny stuff....

I have some jarred summer honey that was jarred and labelled. It has been left in a cold spare bedroom with no heating on. The honey is starting to crystallize. If I warm up again in my warming cabinet, can I leave the lid on to do this? Thanks in advance

Started to put my sale day super 3rds that I got together... so far out of 2 packs of 5 i have 8 good ones that have small holes and knots filling, the other 2 when together may need s bit more work. 1 more pack to go.... This brings me to my question, how does everybody fix /fill their supers...

You can everything else apart from the 3rds..... these are sold on the day and you have to queue for the sale to start at 09.00.

Title says it all really... I have 5 hives at my out apiary that have been treated with Apivar strips. All are now fed and strapped down for winter. The Apivar strips have now been on 7 weeks. Can I leave them on over winter and remove in the spring rather than opening them up again to remove?

Father in law lives in Lincoln so may go over and see him and take a punt on some of the super 3rds.....

What's everybody's views on the super and BB 3rds? They are very very cheap if only need slight work to make them right? I thought I bought some last year but I now think they were 2nds.
