    Whilst inspecting my bees yesterday one managed to get inside my veil and stung me on the inside of my ear.Didn't have any real reaction until about 10hrs later when my ear doubled in size,I went quite deaf,felt very nauseous and the ear itches like hell.Put on cream and hoping it will all soon...

    So after my first year,well about 5mths really, of bee keeping I have harvested about 10lbs of heather honey.With all the kit I've purchased it works out about £30 a jar.Was it worth it,You Bet!!:hurray::hurray::hurray:

    Happyguard 2nd treat

    Sorry to distract from this thread but I noticed Bobs Bees said he was applying Apiguard and feeding at the same time.I thought you had to treat first and then feed.This is my first year with bee's so thanks for any help.

    Hi,I have been told that when moving bees around the UK you should have a sign at the rear of the vehicle stating "Bees in Transit".Is this correct and are their regs on the size of the sign and size of lettering? Thanks.
