this is what happens when they feed a drone royal jelly. They seal the cell, but the larva never goes into pupation, but died and goes into mush

Hi Robbie, That's a huge amount of queen cells. Your bees may be black but I doubt they are amm. Average number of queens cells that I get is about 8 and the max would be about 12. Amm are known for having a low number of queen cells and would be absolutely no use in the commercial production...

my home apairy

This is a black queen that was raised in an incubator where the temperature was a little to high. She hatched about 6 to 8 hours early and by the following day she was as black as the ace of spades

Its just a swarmy hive. I have over 30 hives in the one apiary and only about 6 have made any attempt to swarm so far. Mostly tree nectar source.
