    I use raw linseed oil from new and again five years later. If I make hive parts from redwood timber then they get two coats of garden shades

    Only once did I remove the entrance block, DB and a massive flow, if you see massive crowding ate the entrance then go for it but as mentioned earlier wasps are a big problem with gaping holes the Brynmair under floor entrances are the way to go, no mice no crowding and no wasps

    Bees not capping honey is an indication that swarming is around the corner but this year I thinks it’s a case of what was said in previous posts that there is a good flow of nectar on and the bees using their resources to collect as much as they can
