There was a fair bit of set honey there. Probably around 10% compared to runny.
There was also a pressurised honey creamer called creamPAL. A snip at $33000. I want one! Made the smoothest honey I have ever tasted. The consistency of yoghurt!
We use batteries on our system as well. Its the overnight tariff that we use to charge up the batteries that's the huge money saver.
4.5kw solar array
20kWh battery storage system
5kw Inverter
and an overnight rate to charge the batteries of 4.5p per KWH.
We just charge them up fully...

Yes - my operation is small enough to warrant destroying the comb each year.
I started with pressing, moved to the loosener - sold it and reverted to pressing. Loads better for us
Aren't these good! The best bit - it does the filtering at the same time so its ready to settle and can be jarred immediately.
I grew so tired of loosening and then extracting only to have to filter again at a later stage before jarring!
Damn those boxes were clean and my clothes were bleach stained. No EFB (or AFB) on me though - or the boxes! LOL
Took me AGES working it out as well ;0
Cheques in the post ;)
Really appreciate the very kind words from everyone in this thread! :)
It means a lot that you are happy with our queens and also our customer service!
Heather Loosener
Good used condition. 2.5 years old. Only used for two modest heather seasons. All in perfect working order. No broken/damaged needles. £2900.

Excellent condition. Used only a couple of times. Too big for my operation...
I just love this floor design! Best bit for me is the ability to close them up in seconds with a foam bung.
Perfect for reducing entrances (if ever needed), vaping and moving colonies. No other floor makes it quite as easy!
Works well but its not a finished product. Filtering is a PITA. Do it when warm off the hive and filter through a large sieve (50cm diameter) is how we do it. Just about bearable.
It's not in the honey regulations but that isn't the only legislation that needs adherence when selling honey.
Maybe its just best practise, but the following guidance states any food with a best before date should include specific storage instructions to achieve that best before date...
