Did a routine inspection, got stung several times by the nasty colony but all seems well. Plenty of stores, pollen, and brood in all stages :)

You can put in the 12th frame, but if you leave a gap they will fill it with there own comb. They will only draw out about 9-10 of the frames so the choice is yours :) Michael

Hi Guys thought I would just let you know how this went today. There wasn't much there: few Langstroth hives, bids starting at £40 Each Two Langstroth supers Two stainless steel extractors, one started at £150 can't remember the other ones price. Ten Nucs on National frames, starting bid of £90...

Hi, I caught a swarm late Saturday afternoon and they seem to be working well bringing back pollen. When would you recommend I do the first inspection of them? I was told three weeks so should I just leave them to it and let them settle in? Michael

Hi everyone, I have set out a bait hive and for the last couple of days there have been what look like scout bees investigating it. There have been around 100 bees looking around it and wondered if these are scout bees? Michael
