Do any of you alter prices for honey when its been a bad year?Neither local health food shop has any nor does local farm shop .Not in a rush to sell so what would be a fair price ? Ade

Eggs laid up in foundation , maybe q slimmed down in preparation to leave and moved upstsairs..as i put empty super on top of brood q moved to top and workers moved stores to super below to give her room ...shes clipped so either find her or let them swarm ??

Couldnt see her , if so thought she would lay in empty super frames which were added on sat , eggs in super which was starting to get capped and full

Hi all , checked 1 of hives on sat morn plenty of sealed brood and larvae but no eggs .Q clipped and not swarmed .Had no qcs up till now.Super nearly full so added another on top of brood..1 qc not capped..Checked today and new super well on way .Top super which was almost full of stores now has...

I was bored with disecting the original post....We had good relationship with all at farm , very good...Was told by manager that as we were the general public us or our bees had to move off the farm as they only wanted farm employees on it... This was towards the end of last year.. We tried hard...

Seems clear to me, that is how it was said...anyway bored now:sifone:

Was told by farm manager who wasnt sure how his job was in all this end of last year but it became quite blunt what they wanted ....wouldnt want them there anyway now

Had to move hives today as the fruit farm where we had our bees was bought out by the Co.op and they said very bluntly " move them off our land!!!" Nice company bee-smillie

As posted last week i lost a nuc through robbing, my larger colony being next door.Have been still feeding syrup as mentor instructed , today i checked them and stores looking good but fed them some fondant to make sure as way too late for syrup i feel .Really enjoing this dry spell :banghead...
