Hi all
Had a reply about feeding fondant to my bees, and it had using a shallow EHE tried to find Acronym but failed who will answer first :thanks:

Eke - a small vertical spacer. As suggested get some 2" 40/50 mm strip wood (eg from B&Q) and make a 2" (or 40/50mm) high rim (460mm square) to raise the crownboard by that amount, creating a draught-free space on top of the frames for fondant or, most commonly recently, Apiguard.
People like Thorne and Maisem'r will sell you some nice cedar versions (for Apiguard) - but pine is OK if not for ever!

And you can see what other uses you can dream up! :)

Make sure to use I horizontally or your crown board will wobble :D
