Use of egg incubator for QC's

I was thinking of making the DIY QC incubator as per the one shown in The Apiarist when it dawned on me that just a couple of years ago I bought a very good Brinsea poultry egg incubator that regulated humidity as well.

Has anyone used such an incubator for bringing on QC's?

I’ve used an old Chinese one which worked ok.
As long as you have it set around 50% humidity and temp 34-35c you should be ok.
I have my incubator set at 34.5c and 50% humidity.

I think Brinsea do insect incubators as well as poultry ones. I'm sure the technology is the same, it's just close control of temperature and humidity.

I use a cheap £20 4 egg Chinese one converted to hold 10 QCs Does a great job.
I also have a s.h Brinsea 10 bought cheap for larger volumes of Qs.

No real issues.

I have used my Brinsea for 10 years - excellent for hatching sealed Q cells.

agree, I bought a cheap one for about £20 on ebay, converted it to take 8, did the job fine recently!
