My first Artificial swarm control!

Hi folks after a inspection on one of my new single Nat's yesterday afternoon there welsh Amm bee's.. 6 frames of bias and they are starting to make QCs the queen is still there as she's marked but I've noticed no more eggs being laid. Question how long before she's going to swarm?
My mentor/ best friend is coming today and we plan to split the hive once .And move the old hive to my new out apairy 3 miles away and leave the new hive in the existing position . I'm thinking this Q- hive might be a bit feisty for a bit . its a nice calm day a bit cloudy hopefully things go well.
I'm hoping I've caught this hive in time not like my first hive!

Why not move them both until the new queen is working properly, that way if a problem occurs at least both hives will be on the same site for a bit of manipulation
But whatever you decide I hope it goes well.

It looks like I'm keeping them all at home Erica !
The split went well on that hive three frames of bias in each I used two frames of winter stores with load's of gorse pollen to help but there's loads of forage about any way .l've two supers of honey of this hive before I did the As I'm going to extract one and I gave my mentor the other . I've got to pay for the bee's some how .
Any way my Italian / locals had a laying queen 3 frames of brood and a cracking great big QC sealed so they had to be split to. I've been through this hive with a fine tooth comb where the hell did you hide that one . so it was a buzzy day got stung on my leg after I took my sute of.but I have blossom honey
