Hello,
A week ago Cyprus experienced the largest conventional explosion in the
history of the world when an ammo dump of 98 containers of high explosive went off
and destroyed the main electricity generating plant. You can see a short video
and a before and after photo at this Greek site:

We live about 60 kms away from the site so did not suffer any damage. I
passed by the base about 5 hours previously. The blast has caused about 2 billions
worth of damage and we have widespread electricity cuts with no quick end to
it.
A fireman from our village was at ground zero and was killed.
Best regards
Roger.

Glad to hear you and yours are unhurt, Roger - I have an old schoolfriend in Cyprus, must get in touch toot sweet.
