I am hoping this is a sign of queens having mated. This time last week hardly any pollen going in this week lots of pale darkish yellow coming in both hives, a lot more in the parent hive from AS. I realise this is no means a dead cert but at least a good sign?? Bees are very calm very well behaved . peeped in gently under the swarmed hive crown board ( queen went missing shortly after AS but no noticed loss of bees) and they are building the super out well , above the qx nicely. About 4 frames with lovely white wax. May get some honey this year. That'd be a nice way of paying their rent.
