I know it shouldnt be in this area but i thought it would be read more here than other parts of the forum.

there will be a flypast of 85 military aircraft starting from selsey going up to windsor in honour of HM Queen Elizabeth. it will be starting at selsey in west sussex at 9.30am and going in a straight line over chichester, goodwood to windsor. it will start with typhoons, followed by the red arrows etc, there will also be a large 60 made up of planes.

it sounds like it will be pretty spectacular, lets hope the weather is good for it. for more info have a look here http://www.flysynergy.com/ga-news/diamond-jubilee-flypast/

living next to the A15 in south lincs we have the pleasure of regular fly pasts by the red arrows and BoBMF.

and, before TB sold his soul to Bush, Stealths stacked over our house waiting for airshow slots (they can now land in UK as we are "trusted ally").

Yawn.

London centric yet again.

Blah blah blah... big yawn.

Even the training camps at Loughborough have been cancelled. There is something going on that the heid yins are not telling us. I intensely suspect that there is a huge security alert that they know off, else why pull out all the bomb dogs from our troops in Afghanistan?

Lol DP4, from the title of the thread I imagined you had organised a flypast with some bees you had specially trained for the Jubilee...

We get to see the Red Arrows very close up in the summer for the Bournemouth Air Festival as we are about a mile from the end of the runway - they do tend to chuck the planes around a bit as they practice for a couple of days before the airshow.

I expect to find two deep undercarriage sized furrows in my roof one day when I get home.

Only fly pasts I see are (thankfully) other people's swarms
