Hi
Just got my first colony of bees about a week ago, although have been a member of a beekeeping club for nearly two years.
It's a bit scary having my own colony to look after, but looking forward to help and advice from everyone here

If in difficulty please ask. You are likely to get a lot of answers, some of which may be contradictory.. but as bees don't read books :)

welcome I am in my first year I think all is going well but its a nervous time going alone!!!

I have found the advice on here invaluable...

I certainly agree with you.

Though I recommend you be a bit cautious about whose advice you take.
Some have great depth and range of experience - plenty of hives, years of practice behind them.

Others just make a lot of noise!

Dusty.

After 20 odd years I'm still dropping clangers (early onset altzeimers no doubt)
The bees some how manage to correct my mistakes without reference to Ted Hooper or Bro Adam :D
