7th December - AGM and talk by Pam Hunter
11th January - Maurice Field
8th February - Chris Hone
1st March - Amanda Millar

Titles of talks given below:-

7th December - AGM and talk by Pam Hunter - How Nutrition Affects Colony Health
11th January - Maurice Field - IPM, Responsible and Successful Beekeeping
8th February - Chris Hone - Different Aspects of Beekeeping
1st March - Amanda Millar - Pollinators

The meeting on 7th December is at Mountfield Village Hall - venue for the other meetings to be advised.

Just to advise that the meetings in 2014 will take place in Mountfield Village Hall.

Hope to see some of you there.

Harold

Around 30 members attended the AGM which was followed by a facinating talk by Pam Hunter on "How Nutrition Affects Colony Health". This outlined many of the biological processes used by the bee to use Pollena and Nectar. It was evident that some pollens and nectars are better than others.

We are now looking forward to the January meeting featuring a talk by Maurice Field on 'Integrated Pest Management" - members of neighbouring associations are welcome to attend. Members can pick up their Divisional Diaries at this meeting.
