Got the scaffolding....

.....got to hand it to him for persistence. Went to look at a simple cut-out at around seven feet height last May (big wavy edge board, have been bees there years). Guy is supposedly a builder (though "house" more like a prospectors' shack) and said he'd get some scaffolding. And we waited.

Last June I conducted my swarm collection campaign from a hospital bed for five days (kept me sane!) and sent my partner and 21yo daughter to collect a prime and large cast from the same place. Both made good progress. And we waited.

This morning, phone goes, got the scaffolding. So now he can wait for the bees until there's brood and wax-building ability. Progress! Be good to see the back of this one...
