First message and already asking for help

Hi

I am joining this forum with pleasure. Reading your posts brings me back in a world of beek keeping which I left behind me (in Normandy) 20 years ago. It was about time that I get back into it.

I live in Weybridge, Surrey, and am very keen to start small with one beehive this year (I know I could have started earlier but I only just found a good place).

I have already spoken to the local beekeeping club chairman and will join the community.

I have a behive waiting for a colony. Can you please advise where I can buy bees this months (I guess bees on frame?)

Is Italo-caucasian popular around here?
