Hi Everyone,
I've read several times in various books and on websites that varroa treatments affect drone fertility, so you should not treat in Spring.

Does anyone have any info on the basis for this claim or is it something just rehashed from one site to another..?

I'm thinking of MAQs in particular ie Formic Acid. Dave Cushmans site says that formic acid affects fertility but One paper I read said that formic acid did not create smaller drones, unlike the other treatments... (Smaller drones with smaller wings having direct correlation to the number of sperm that drone has).

thanks in advance!!
