I added a second BB to (below) a growing colony 2 weeks ago before i went away

a couple of frames drawn, others not

got back and they've drawn it out but

laying lots of stores capped in there and not much in the super
and
it seems that there is brood followed by stores, followed by more brood i.e. not sequential

unusual/normal/just leave?

I have another colony where we added an undrawn super and additional BB and this colony hasnt touched the BB and has drawn and filled the super

Then add another super before they fill the BB

Then add another super before they fill the BB

have done thanks Enrico

you helped a lot advise on my 2 main colonies before i went for two weeks and i added a 2nd BB and a super to both

as i say...

one (buckfast) hasnt touched the BB but filled the super - 2nd super on now
2nd has filled 1/3rd of super and i probably have 2-3 capped brood frames of honey plus brood separated by stores in bottom BB and a lot of stores in top BB too....
