bees mooching about at the door

Hi, This is a small swarm from this May. They've drawn 7 frames and are contented.
I haven't been in to look at the brood chamber,, yet,, but they don't seem to want to go in the door. it's not blocked.
There's even bees coming back out still with the pollen baskets full!
very curious.

I think that they are quard bees. They are doing their job. Sometthing has disturbed the hive. No reason to look the brood box.

It was May. Opening does not help any more.
 
Well,, just been in.
All looking great, bit of brace comb, building out external foundation and storing supplies. BIAS, slabs due to hatch anytime. Floor is clean.
At the door now they can't get in quick enough.
Messin' with my head I suppose, I imagined something nasty sitting in the frames!
