As we're fast approaching training course season......
Beginners course run by North East Worcestershire Beekeepers.
Place: Bromsgrove School (Biology Labs)
Time: 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.
First Session: Thursday 26th Jan
Cost: £60 (or £50 for members of Worcs. BKA)
Contact: Alex Bignell 01527 833753
There will be 8 classroom sessions on Thursday evenings (with a 1 week break at half term), followed by 2 apiary sessions during April.
The teaching is shared by 6 tutors averaging 15 years beekeeping experience each. Mentoring after the course is also provided for those who want it.
We also commit to supply delegates with a locally sourced nucleus of bees at significantly less cost than commercial suppliers (£105 in 2011 IIRC).
I should also add, this is totally unconnected with my business. Nucs are sourced from our existing membership. All tutors are volunteers.
