    Earwigs, anyone?

    I have seen a remedy for earwigs used on WBC hives with 4 legs in an old beekkeeping book. Each leg sat in in the base of a cut off soft drinks bottle and used engine oil poured into the soft drinks base. No earwigs able to get in!

    I was wondering how you keepers are finding the good weather we are having so far this summer is influencing the amount of honey being produced in your hives? The last two summers were very wet so how did thes effect your colonies and the amount of honey you were able to harvest?
