    I need to beg, borrow, or steal..........

    an extractor. New to beekeeping (bought a working hive from Mike in May) and have two national supers to extract. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to buy an extractor, and don't have the time to build one. Can anybody tell me where I can hire or borrow one? I'm situated near Southend. Jack

    Reaction to sting

    I was stung twice a few weeks back (temple and wrist) - did nothing. Next morning, thought I'd had a stroke in the night! Right side of face swollen, numb, and immobile!!!! Stung on the nose this morning. Took piriton immediately, and so far (fingers crossed), no pain or swelling at all. I think...
