Can anyone tell why there is no standard nuc format or why there is no obvious regulations controlling the selling of bees?

Just homed my first bees in their lovely new hive. Spent the last 2 hrs watching them. A big thank you to all the Beekeeping Associations and others who help us newbees. Well back to work or maybe just 5 more minutes.....:hurray:
