    Normal Behaviour or Not

Yes I’ve done that. I just wondered which one you were referring to.

    Normal Behaviour or Not

That’s helpful. Which blog was it you suggested in an earlier post for Newbies?

    Normal Behaviour or Not

Did you see my post about them not bringing pollen in? Is this significant do you think? I’ll inspect them tomorrow.

    Normal Behaviour or Not

Ok thanks for that. They’re a bit calmer today than yesterday- they’re in the shade - but they’re not bringing in any pollen. Is that normal? Mind you my new colony isn’t bringing in any either

    Normal Behaviour or Not

Many thanks for all your replies - most helpful. I’ll check everything out and let you all know. I’m hopeful the Queen is still there but she won’t be in the super. I cleared it all out and put the frames with the honey back in and the qe on the brood box. Thanks again

    Moving a hive 30/40 feet

And how long should I obstruct the entrance for and should I leave the twig/leafy branches or replace with grass

    Moving a hive 30/40 feet

Hi, I’m aware of the 3 mile/3 feet rule but relocating the hive for a few weeks or moving it 2 feet a day aren’t options. So I moved it 5 feet 2 nights ago and last night I moved it the remaining distance - 30 feetish. On both days I put a correx box in the old location and a few bees went back...
