    The super is just to house the feeder. I will definitely take the advice from everyone and invest in some insulation - am I right in thinking that a hole would need to be cut in the insulation to allow for feeding of fondant over winter?

    Hello! I'm a 1st year beekeeper going into the winter after a fairly successful season. I have 1 hive. Today upon opening the hive I noticed mildew/mould growing on the top bars of the brood frames. It is also growing on the underside of the roof and had covered the crown board completely...
