    angry hive

    one of my hives (in the last two weeks) has become very aggressive. The bees just seem to attack in force. they even follow us back to the car and stay with us for a bit of a time.     worker colour

    Just did a hive inspection and notice for the first time that some of my worker bees have turned a rusty brown colour. This is only in one of my hives. The hive has a recently introduced queen(about 3weeks ago). Can the queen affect the colour of my colony or is something else going on.

    hive split
