brought 6 hives home from the balsam pleased with the weight.. could lift them on my own. but at least they haven't starved

talkin to a agronomist today and he said that farmers are going 2 spray at laest twice to combat the bugs that the neons killed were in 4 a rough ride im afraid more spray :facts:

did the balsam bring any honey in?? I have got some on it and will be fetching home thurs

ha ha don't do like me and stack 6 high went in my shed today and stack gone over.. lucky only 1 bucket open.. what a mess so now stacked 3 high.. lesson learned

checked mine this week just split middle of brood to see if queen right. couple of mins and that's it 4 winter

got apiguard on top of brood box straight on bees then a 20 mil eke crown board with hole in it then feeder over hole

just had mate on the phone and a beekeeper has been to his hives next to ours and he is taking some more supers up tomorrow.. I said iff mine have filled 2 supers I will be over the moon. and he spoke to the farmer and the farmer said he has not seen the heather looking so good for years

not many at all I have treated about 25 nests up to now..... don't know why there isn't many.. bees have done well so would of thought wasps would of done well

I took 6 with 2 supers on them each and if they have filled them and filled the broodbox I will be more than happy{ hoping}
