Does anyone have a number for...

Would it be the number on the bottom of their 'Products' web page? This is listed as being for T Beaney Publishing, but is for returns. Seems odd that they would put it here and not on their contacts page!

    A nuclear hol-locust?

    ekes to convert to 14x12

I don't think it is too important. I used some lengths of 19x94mm - two 460 lengths for the sides, four 422mm lengths at the ends with a strip of 6mm for a spacer, and offset by 8mm to create a lip. Works fine. I put mine under the brood box.

    Making nuc boxes

A standard national brood box frame is 8.5 inches tall so you just need to take 3.5 inchs (89mm) out of the middle to make it shorter. All other dimensions are the same.

    slightly unripe honey

Probably a stupid question, but is it possible to evaporate off the moisture other than letting the bees do it, or is it not that simple?

Try here :-) Or, indeed, here.

    Ragwort

There has been some discussion on it here Reading the thread it sounds like there is not too much to worry about in eating it, but it will not taste very nice.

    changes over 30 years

I was not beekeeping 30 years ago, but it seems that there are more people wanting to help themselves to your Bees/kit now then there were then. Apiary security has moved up the agenda recently.

This illusion is just a matter of perspective

Interesting images, but it is still just spam. Google "This illusion is just a matter of perspective" and you will see that it has been posted on loads of forums in the last few days all with the user name belrerdanoc with some random characters after it. :( Ironically it may have gone...

    Camra security

I had a Ltl Acorn. It took 8 batteries and they lasted up to 5 or 6 months (depending upon activity, settings etc). Some bugger stole it from a tree in our garden!

    Plans

16x10 are also known as commercial. Look out for commercial nucs - yes, they are often available.

    Whats the worst tasting honey?

Marmite honey - Presumably a blend of Marmite and honey, and not honey made from nectar gathered from some kind of Marmite plant. Now I like honey. I also like Marmite. I regularly have them on toast for breakfast. A friend who knew this decided that naturally I would also like like Marmite...

    What type of nuc?

I was tempted with these, but I am a little put off by the way the feeder works on the 14x12 version. There seems to be no way of inserting or removing a door to block access to the feeder without taking the eke off, and presumably you cannot fill it above the join either.

Where can I get this fruit picker?

I have seen these, but cannot think where. I will see if I still have a note of them. Meanwhile, the closest thing that I have found is this, but that is on the US web site.

    Equipment

Yep - Blackbrood. It was first posted here in this thread. There seems to be a few dubious entries in it though, with additional links to a website called plantsalive.
