Can you please point out where in my reply have I been disrespectful!

    Mass birthing of virgins

First thing I would be doing is getting a decent strain of queen in to replace all the ones you have from the swarm.

    Jars

I only ever use round jars now, I do use the 300ml jars, yes they hold over 12oz but I think they look so much better than 282ml jars. On the plus side I can apply my labels with a hand machine.

What did you do in the Apiary today?

A quick look through the hives today, almost all my queens are F1 raised off a Keld Island mated queen, I have to say I'm amazed how they have build up in the past few weeks. The last two Nucs I move into full size 14x12 BB's last week have drawn all the frames and are in need of a super. A...

    Bee poop on neighbours cars.

Did any of your colonies survive, do you have any proof it was the person complaining about the poop?

Thank you all for your replies and all advice.

    Abelo Poly Super

Does anyone use castellation spacers in an Abelo National Poly super? If so what size do you use?

    Frame/Foundation Wire

Where do fellow beekeepers get their wire from to wire foundation? I have had two reels now one was 250G and the other 500G and the are all but the same diameter. This is way too big, it I compare it with the wire that's in the foundation I'd say it was twice the size. I foolishly bought a load...

What did you do in the 'workshop' today

I've bought English Cedar in Usk, but its a lot closer to me, but I have also bought Cedar in Dorkin, a lot closer to you. https://www.norburyparksawmill.org.uk

What did you do in the 'workshop' today

What size labels are they, I would love to see a video of you doing 10 labels a minute all straight and in the same place on every jar. The manual labelling machine I use will do 12 a minute, these are 120x60 labels.

What did you do in the 'workshop' today

Made up 6 clearing boards fitted with Rhombus escapes and 4 clear crown boards.

What did you do in the 'workshop' today

Thats why I move to labels on reels, the one I use needs labels on a 76mm core, is yours for Hex jars. I'd love to see a picture.

    Suggest best polyhive

Not a problem with any of the Poly hives to Nucs I use, its never melted the round holes in the Nucs and the same with the Maisemore Poly I have.

    Suggest best polyhive

Not used them yet, a mate said the only take 10! I'll go and check shortly and try 11 Hoffman in there. Thanks for the information.

    Suggest best polyhive

I have been using the Maisemore Poly hive (National) for a whole season now, they are not really compatible with the standard national supers. I have just have some of the Abelo ones, these are the same footprint as the national but they only take 10 frames, this is not a problem as I either run...

    Bee poop on neighbours cars.

Just like to say the cars around where I keep my bees get covered, they are in some woodland but they seem to fly over the cars to 'bump' their poo! I have never had a complaint.

    Konigin steam wax melter/centrifuge

Its the Konigin steam spinner, the post asked if anyone had used one, I have seen my mates working, you put all you frames you want to melt the wax out of in the machine, it heats up with steam and then spins the round (centrifuge), all the wax get 'thrown' off the frames to the outside, very...

    Konigin steam wax melter/centrifuge

My mate has one - it does spin frames, very impressed with it. The frames come out so clean and of course sterile.

    Compose a talk?

My beekeeping talks last for an hour, I always tell them before I start that if they have any questions to ask as I go. You say they are pretty switched on, are they? You will be surprised how little people know about 'beekeeping'. It might be worth having two talks ready, ask at the start what...
