    Vacuum swarm collectors on sale at Lidl

    Ash vacuum attachments on sale at Lidl. Connect to a vacuum cleaner (not supplied) on low power setting and use it to for collecting swarms, near a 240V supply. Has anyone used one? I've just bought one at Lidl, Conwy, North Wales.

    Any tips on how to cut various thicknesses of Kingspan please? I've been cutting 25mm sheet with a Stanley knife and a steel straightedge, not easy to keep a straight line.

    I use a Strainaway for extracted honey. It uses a hand operated vacuum pump, a bit like a large bicycle pump. I use an MG heather press for my heather honey. The press strains the honey. I blend one bucket of heather honey with two buckets of summer honey and sell it as heather blend. It...

    The 20 litre press weighs a hefty 18kg, compared with the 9 litre press at 10kg.

    The coarse straining bag is recommended for honey. I guess the 20-litre machine will be a big, very heavy machine. Our new 9-10 litre machine is getting good reviews from Conwy BK members.
