    Far to early to pull the brood nest apart..the weather may be nice for now but i know for a fact it will get cold and miserable again..wrong move IMHO ..how will the poor little devils fix the damage you have caused..

    Most definitely and maybe another lesson learned..Nuc to brood box too soon on some occasions..this is the second time i have had one of these nuc's fail with these Queens and i don't think it will happen again..on my behalf anyways..;)

    Quick up date.. Bees flying and collecting pollen from the strong hive today but not the weak one that is now outdoors..i decided to take the fondant of to look underneath..very few bees a cup full if that so i pulled the frames out and not a Queen in sight..the open mesh floor was half inch...

    True mate..who in there right mind would hold any flammable material close enough to a flame that it would set on fire.. let alone a container with bees in it that i am trying to save not kill..some folk really have no idea and i can not even be bothered to reply to the silly comment...

    -2 C here in the morning but glorious during the day..saved around 100 chilled bees today fully laden with pollen from the Crocus..the little darlings where laid all over the floor under the landing board...probably treble the amount if no landing board was in place..a quick warm in a Chinese...

    That brought a too tear my eye..pooches to me are not pooches they are part of the family and more loving/ faithful and trustful than any person could ever be..i have felt your pain many times which makes me think why do i bother..the reason i bother is i could not live with out a little side...
