    Cheeky fecker?

So he has three identical listings but with different spacing, he (allegedly) isn't selling anything and he claims to be contributing 20% to charity for each sale of an allegedly photoshopped sign. I've clicked on Report Item on his listings because of his cynical use of the charity logo! R2

    What goes on in there?

If it came with stores and they're not flying then they'll be eating into the stores. You might want to consider feeding them a bit while this turn of weather lasts but not so much that they restrict the queens abilty to lay by clogging up the comb... R2

    Cheeky fecker?

Do a search for "bees fo r sale" (sic) on ebay and someone in Bicester is 'selling' "bees for sale" signs "just like the ones he uses to sell his reasonably priced nucs"! The signs are only £30 so I guess he won't be selling many of those - although if you did buy one you will be donating £6...

    Newbee - octagonal warre

National is the easiest way to start - you'll get nucs/colonies on National frames, the equipment is easy to buy (Google 'Bees on a Budget' for a National supplier) and the National is the easiest to learn on IMHO R2

    Feeding after a shook swarm - one2one or two2one?

Not too worried about the temp drop as there will be no brood to worry about! I'm going 2:1 as that's recommended by the local Inspector and the DEFRA site although I'll monitor it carefully. Lots of water nearby where I am and it's not that cold here in Sussex-by-the-sea... Don't want to...

    Feeding after a shook swarm - one2one or two2one?

    A tad confused - doing a shook swarm tomorrow - should I feed 2:1 (2lbs to 1 pint) or 1:1 (1lb to 1 pint)? [_] 2:1 [_] 1:1 [_] Other R2

OK unless you have a weak colony then there's a risk of robbing surely? R2

    mouse guards

We had ice day before last - if pollen's coming in I still reckon you're OK to remove them. R2 (off to Newcastle in April - should I take a coat?)

    mouse guards

Too late IMHO - apparently mice move out in February so, with pollen coming in, get them off asap. R2

Shook swarm on brood and a half

I'm a bit confused - do I feed or not? Do I put them in one box for a few days then into another box - surely not? R2
