Using standard Supers with Abelo 12 frame poly (top bee space)

A couple of over wintered Nuc's inbound in the spring from a reputable supplier so hopefully that ones nailed for next season or even the one after, simply don't want to get caught without enough kit.

Using standard Supers with Abelo 12 frame poly (top bee space)

As a Newbie I'll take advice from anyone with a greater experience than myself (which are most!) I'll be disappointed if they are not compatible as I bought the new 12 frame Apolo on advice that they are fully compatible with standard BS gear.

Using standard Supers with Abelo 12 frame poly (top bee space)

Hi all, please go gently with me if Im asking something ridiculous!! Ive bought Abelo's 12 frame poly hives with a couple of Supers each, these are top bee space hives. As the price of individual poly supers is high Im probably going to purchase a bunch of cedar seconds in the upcoming sales...

    Paradise or abelo poly national.

I emailed Abelo recently and managed to get a discount as I can't make it to the show in February, I think I got around 15% discount and that was just on 3 12 frame hives

The "Hot Air" Solar Wax Melter/Extractor DIY

Our local club made one very similar to this for use in the summer using an old double glazed single window and frame, seems to me to work a treat - in the summer.

    Winter Sales

Hi all, I recently missed out on buying a whole stack of seconds frames in the recent Maisemore Sale because I was faffing around too much with my order and didn't realise its end date! Can anyone advise when they normally hold their Winter sale please? Thanks

    Newbie - South Devon

Hi all, I’m currently undertaking the basic beekeeping course with the Torbay Beekeepers Club, hopefully learn some of the basics and necessities this season and then jump in to ownership next year. Having carried out a fair bit of research and listening to much advice I am split at the moment...

    Season start - Devon

Thornes in Exeter have virtually no beekeeping stock in at the moment, went in last week and was told probably nothing until April.
