Anyone found Asian Hornet queens in wasp traps this spring?
Not a hornet expert at all, but didn't look like normal ones that I see creating nests all the time somewhere, also didn't look like one you posted. Had a big black bump and very tall legs...not a bumble bee. Just didn't look like anything I have seen before. Not sure what to do, as i didn't...- zrappa

Anyone found Asian Hornet queens in wasp traps this spring?
I found one dead in wasp trap that was on over the winter. Have to say that just the size of this insect is scary. Thank God for the wasp trap- zrappa

What did you do in the Apiary today?
Was sitting outside this weekend watching my girls being busy bringing in pollen, will crack hives open coming weekend if sunny. :) Got 1 nuc last spring, hoping to have 2 overwintered hives this spring :):willy_nilly:- zrappa
