Just on my way home after watching the first few lots of bees going for around £50. Glad I'm not selling Looks like it's been a mild winter in terms of losses. Just to update on my way past the gate, heard some later ones going for £120 or so.

Me too. Saw them leave, then 1/2 an hour or so later saw them come back. Very releaved I was too!

mini nucs are great for mating queens. Best them to move them on into a nuc (made up from a strong colony) then repeat the process as your set up ready for another ripe q cell. I have heard of people building them up from a mini nuc, but it takes an age.

3 swarms caught the same day can be thrown in together. No problems. So I've been told. Not that I've tried it.

I am under the impression the inspectors have already been out to the colony's in range.
