Hive swarmed a week ago when I was away, what to do now?

Wow, I've never heard that method before, sounds totally counterintuitive to release more queens!

Hive swarmed a week ago when I was away, what to do now?

So thats still what to do, even 8 days later, will go in later. Just now I thought they were about to swarm again, but they seem to have settled down and started bearding.

Hive swarmed a week ago when I was away, what to do now?

Hi, Just over a week ago my hive swarmed, I was away so didn't have a chance to remove most of the swarm cells. Now I'm unsure what to do to stop it swarming a cast swarm again. Any suggestions? Thanks Paul

What to do with half filled super frames.

I don’t necessarily want to take it, I just don’t think it’s a good idea to leave it on over winter as it’s more than ½ empty.

What to do with half filled super frames.

Hi, one of my hives has a super with half filled frames. Some capped, but lots uncapped. I think I need to remove it and feed the hive up for the winter in the brood box. What can I do with the half filled frames? Thank Paul

Bees in garden office roof - leave alone?

Its a challenge to get to, its quite high to and would cause quite a lot of damage to the get access to the nest. I think I may just leave for now, if it becomes an issue I will rethink.

Bees in garden office roof - leave alone?

Hi, I have identified that a colony is living in the roof space of our garden office. I wonder if it was one of my swarms from last year! It's not an easy place to get to, and would cause quite a bit of damage if I (or anyone) was to try to remove them. Are there any issues just leaving them...
