    Is it ok to use super market fondant ? Just put some on but now worried it should have been bakers fondant. Or is it all the same. Cheers

    Alfalfa ?

    The farm that my bees are on Has alfalfa. MP is correct it's cut regularly for feed for dairy cattle. Never really seen it in flower

    I made an error when mixing syrup and now have big lumps of sugar in it. Is it ok to re mix it. Cheers

    Solar lighting

    Evenings are pulling in fast now. Any recommendation for solar panels to power lights for two 16'x8 poultry sheds. Only need a 40w bulb in each.

    On a similar vein ,my frames moved on transit and I didn't notice. I now have two massively thick frames and one that has a whole frame size piece of wild combe attached full of eggs ! Should I just leave it until the spring and then do as suggested by moving the outside frame pulling them...

    Thank you very much. Been away all day. It is in a kingspan hive so well insulated with insulation dummy boards. Ill change to 2:1 now them. I was reading finmans bit about not filling with stores too early and allowing for a to lay for winter. Seemed to make sence
